Open Up magazines are a voice for South Manchester: its people, its community organisations and its thriving independent businesses. We love South Manchester and so do our readers.
There’s always something going on: we’re surrounded by committed, creative and passionate people, all helping to make ours the best part of one of the best cities in the world.
At Open Up, we cover local arts, culture and community events; we celebrate our urban villages and champion our community heroes. We also feature grass-roots sport and share the fascinating histories of where we live.
It’s all about life with a local focus; tailored to our readers’ tastes. Health and beauty; families; homes and gardens; life outdoors; food and drink, and more.
Everything you need to get the most from life in South Manchester.
Open Up provides an affordable platform for retailers, tradespeople, local services and groups to advertise locally. We work closely with local Traders Associations and know that it’s that diverse range of small businesses and independent traders that make our town unique.
We cover – and uncover – what makes our South Manchester neighbourhoods distinctive and special.
